Blackburn will be without new signing Yildiray Basturk for the trip to West Ham as he is lacking in match fitness.

Rovers boss Sam Allardyce has snapped up the Turkish international from German outfit Stuttgart on a season-long loan deal but he is not fully fit so will be left out against the Hammers.

Chris Samba returns from suspension but David Dunn, who signed a new deal with the club this week, misses out once again with a troublesome calf injury.

Midfielder Vince Grella is back in training following a thigh strain but the game at Upton Park has come too soon for him.
