Bolton are being linked with a swoop for Blackburn's Aaron Mokoena, who could be on the move next summer.

Rovers midfielder Mokoena, who is in the last 12 months of his contract, could leave for free next summer and is said to be a January target for Megson, who has been given the go-ahead to spend.

Rovers boss Paul Ince will no doubt want to keep the South African on board but the player will be able to speak to rival clubs in January and reports claim a short switch to the Reebok Stadium could be on the cards.
