Blackburn have moved into the transfer market to sign Denmark defender Lars Jacobsen on a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old spent last season with Everton after penning a 12-month deal but only managed four starts for David Moyes' side after struggling through injury.
Rovers boss Sam Allardyce has moved quickly to land the player on a free transfer and he becomes the third signing of the summer following the arrivals of midfielder Elrio van Heerden and French defender Gael Givet.
