Midfielder David Dunn has been ruled out of this weekend's Lancashire derby with Burnley.
The Lancashire Telegraph today confirmed that the veteran will miss this weekend's clash, with the loss of Dunn expected to be problematic for manager Gary Bowyer who would have picked the experienced midfielder from the start.
Dunn was instrumental in last year's derby at Ewood Park scoring a last minute equaliser. Rovers have not lost to Burnley in 34 years and will be hoping to maintain that unbeaten record come Saturday.
