Blackburn defender Michel Salgado is targeting a move to Major League Soccer once his contract is up with Rovers.
Boss Sam Allardyce pulled off a massive coup when he landed the Spanish legend on a free transfer from Real Madrid and all being well the 34-year-old will spend the next two seasons at Ewood Park.
However, Salgado still has one eye on the future and admits he could move over to America once his contract with Rovers expires.
"I have two years on my contract at Blackburn. Depending on my fitness I will then play in the United States," Salgado said.
Top players such as David Beckham, Freddie Ljungberg and Kasey Keller have previously moved to MLS after successful careers in Europe and Salgado could also follow.
