Blackburn are being linked with a move for Everton defender Lars Jacobsen, who is set to decide where his future lies.

The 29-year-old only joined Everton last summer but struggled with injury and reports have claimed he could be set for a sharp exit from Goodison Park.

The Danish press have gone as far as saying the defender is set to undergo a medical with Rovers before penning a deal, something which has been denied by his agent.

"I have no comment on concrete club names, but it is correct that Lars is really close to a decision on his future," Karsten Aabriknk told Ekstra Bladet.

Everton have not ruled out the possibility of him extending his stay at Goodison and a decision about his future looks to be imminent.
