Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz is again being linked with a move away with Manchester City ready to bid £18million.

Despite the fact Santa Cruz pledged his future to the club by signing a new deal at Ewood Park, rumours are refusing to go away suggesting he will eventually sign for City.

City boss Mark Hughes is keen to be re-united with the player and tried to sign him in the summer but Rovers refused to sell and Santa Cruz then penned a new contract.

However, Hughes will not give up and reports have now said the former Rovers boss will make another move in January in the hope that Blackburn will sell.

Paul Ince is sure to rebuff all offers for Santa Cruz but in the meantime all the rumours look sure to rumble on.
