Blackburn chairman John Williams has told fans not to panic about a lack of transfer activity at Ewood Park.

Williams will be handed manager Paul Ince's list of targets today as the pair prepare for life after Mark Hughes.

The Ewood supremo has said he is not concerned about a shortage of new arrivals but accepts Rovers are already behind their Premier League rivals in terms of identifying new faces.

He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I'd be lying if I said we aren't a little bit behind where we'd like to be at this stage, but sometimes holding back a bit can be a good thing.

"If you look at the rest of the league, not many of the other clubs have done any business yet either, so there's plenty of time yet."
