Blackpool need new sponsor

BlackpoolBlackpool FC need a new shirt sponsor after current sponsor 'Floors-2-Go' went into administration.

News of the sponsor loss angered Seasiders' supporters as many had spent their money on home or away shirts before the season's start.

Following the decision, the club has taken down all its official club shirts from its Bloomfield Road club shop and reportedly will not re-stock until a new deal is struck.

Current commercial manager at Bloomfield Road, Jane Anderson-Dixon, told the Blackpool Gazette a third away strip was in the pipeline, though it has been postponed until a new deal has been penned.

She added: "We took shirts off sale at the club shop as soon as we knew about the Floors-2-Go announcement.

"We are already talking to people about the possibility of a new deal but at the moment we don't know what that future is.

"We are hoping to hear as soon as possible and when we do, we will, of course, keep the supporters informed.

"We were due to launch a new away strip, but this has been postponed until we know where we stand with shirt sponsorship."

'Floors-2-Go' directors told The Gazette it will not be taking on any of the football sponsorship commitments, leaving Tangerine bosses to approach possible new sponsorship companies.
