Defender Ian Evatt has committed his future to Blackpool by penning a new two-year contract at Bloomfield Road.
The centre-back, who has been with the Tangerines since the summer of 2006, has agreed to extend his stay for a further two years with the option of a possible further year.
Evatt follows in the footsteps of Ben Burgess, who has also agreed a new contract, while Pool remain in negotiations with Keith Southern, Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Paul Rachubka.
Speaking to the Blackpool Gazette, Evatt admitted: "I've really enjoyed my time at the club ever since I've been here and it will be good to continue it.
"I think everyone knows we have a great group of players here. That's why I'm happy to stay here. The dressing room is brilliant, they are a great bunch of lads and the football club has really moved forward from the time I signed when we were a League One club."
