Nottingham Forest have joined the race to sign Shaun Barker but Ian Holloway says the player is going nowhere.

Derby have already failed with a least one bid for the central defender but now Forest have joined the race as Reds boss Billy Davies looks to bolster his defence.

It is unclear whether Forest have made an offer or not but Holloway says the £1million-rated star will only leave on his say so.

"Shaun has a three-year contract and he won't be going anywhere unless we want him to," said Holloway. "He shouldn't have signed that contract if he wanted to move on. It is as simple as that."
