Grayson hails strength in depth

Blackpool boss Simon Grayson says his squad is stronger than this time last year and he cannot wait for the season to start.

Grayson has drafted in a host of new faces this summer, several of which will make their debut against Bristol City in the Championship tomorrow, and the boss is delighted with the business he has done.

"Every time you move on a season you want to get better, you want to keep improving and I feel we've done that with the squad we've got available at this time," he told Blackpool's official website.

"I think the overall view of the squad is stronger, a little bit more strength in depth, and thats not disrespectful to the players that have moved on."
