Instead, Grayson will be focusing a lot more on ball work and believes the days of putting in the hard miles are over.
Asked if his players would be running up and down the sand dunes, Grayson told the Gazette: "I think those days have gone. We will work them hard but there won't be hours and hours of running. There will be a lot of ball work from day one and we will try to make it as varied and enjoyable as we can.
"The players were all weighed at the end of last season and they are allowed (to report in) a few pounds over that weight. I am sure they will have looked after themselves."
