Loan man Roy O'Donovan will wait until the summer to see if his future lies with parent club Sunderland or possibly at Blackpool.

The 23-year-old Irishman has a year left on his current contract at the Stadium of Light, but he has enjoyed his time at Bloomfield Road where he is a first-team regular. And, as O'Donovan faces a dilemma where he will be playing his football, he insists the any decision will be made at the end of the campaign.

He told the Blackpool Gazette: "I haven't thought too much about my long-term future to be honest. I am going to have a holiday and whatever happens, happens.

"I have a year left at Sunderland, but it is all up in the air with what happens with them.

"But I've loved it here and it has been invigorating to play football here and just enjoy it. Hopefully I can get better in the next three games and add a couple of goals."
