Bolton striker Kevin Davies has admitted he is disappointed with the way his side have performed at this stage of the campaign.
The powerful forward has been one of the only Bolton players to shine so far for the Trotters this season and is well aware his side need to improve if they are to avoid a repeat of last season's relegation scrap.
Davies, who has two goals to his name already this season, is far from impressed with the Whites four points in four games and says he can understand the frustrations of the Reebok faithful.
"We all looked at the opening fixtures and thought we could put a lot of points on the board. We have already let that slip," Davies admitted.
"We should have had something at Newcastle and expected to beat West Brom at home. We were all disappointed with the performance at Fulham.
"I can understand the fans' frustrations - you can't go two goals down and then expect to get anything, especially away from home.
"We weren't at the races all afternoon really, not a lot more could have gone wrong."
