Bolton are being linked with a renewed bid for Jimmy Bullard while Inter Milan striker Julio Cruz is also a target.

Bolton boss Gary Megson has been given the green light by chairman Phil Gartside to spend again in the January transfer window and he looks set to go back in with another bid for Bullard.

Megson made a move to land Bullard in the summer but Fulham rejected his offer and the midfielder ended up staying at Craven Cottage. However, reports now claim that Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson is willing to let him go and the Trotters could make a £4million offer.

Meanwhile, Megson is also being linked with Inter striker, Cruz, after the Argentina ace was told he is free to leave the San Siro.

The 34-year-old, who has bagged 49 goals in 113 appearances for Inter, is due to fall out of contract next summer and could leave on the cheap in January if someone makes a bid.
