Bolton boss Gary Megson has called on Johan Elmander to get among the goals in order to keep his place in the starting eleven.

The Sweden international has again struggled for first-team action this season but did grab his first goal of the season in the 5-1 defeat to Aston Villa last time out.

There are signs that Elmander is now starting to find his feet after a number of injury problems and Megson wants more goals, starting against Blackburn on Sunday.

"He has found himself out of the team and whether that has had a positive effect, I don't know," said Megson. "It is a big season for him and it was nice he scored against Aston Villa.

"He is a good player, but he's got to deliver on a regular basis the same as everybody else."
