Meggo set to tinker

Bolton defender Paul Robinson will replace the suspended Jloyd Samuel at Aston Villa while Matt Taylor will be hoping for a recall.

Samuel serves a one-match ban following his sending off against Chelsea last week so Robinson will slot straight in at left-back for a rare chance to shine.

Wanderers boss Gary Megson has no fresh injury worries but looks set to tinker with his side again and that could mean recalls for Taylor, Ivan Klasnic and Ricardo Gardner who were rested against Chelsea.

Megson made the changes last week to try and combat Chelsea's diamond formation and he says he will continue to make such changes.

"I don't want to be explaining every week why so-and-so isn't playing," Megson revealed. "There are going to be times this season where we make changes, even though someone might be playing well.

"If someone can play, for example, right-wing and then can do a job as a holding midfield player just as well, then good luck to him. But if you can only play in one position, then if we are not playing anyone in that position, then you are going to have to get used to it."
