Bolton boss Gary Megson has told Zat Knight he needs to raise his game if he wants to be a success at the Reebok Stadium.
Knight has been a regular alongside Gary Cahill in the heart of the Trotters defence since arriving from Aston Villa in the summer but has looked far from solid at times.
The former Fulham man has already scored two own goals this season and Megson says he needs to sharpen up if he is to keep his place in the first-team.
"There is more to come from Zat, if he can just apply himself a bit better," Megson revealed. "If he just gets that concentration a bit sharper and gets that drive and desire, he can go on and on.
"He has always had this question mark about him at Fulham and Villa but he now has a chance to eradicate it."
