Gary Megson is delighted with Bolton's style of play and believes there is a more positive attitude running throughout the club.

Despite suffering back-to-back 4-0 defeats against Chelsea, Megson is pleased with the way Bolton are playing their football and was just as pleased to see the reaction from the stands.

Right from the first whistle the Trotters fans were behind the players and even when Chelsea made it 2-0 in the second half, the Reebok crowd continued to back the 10 men in white.

"There is a change about the club at the moment," he said. "The crowd ? there is a change there. You can spot the difference.

"We are playing well, everyone is honest, we are having a right good go. These games are going to be an uphill task, which is why it is such a shock when people like Wigan get a result, and they played against 10 men.

"It was going well for 44 minutes but I thought we were terrific throughout. You can't do much more against a side whose starting line-up cost £150million.

"It's hard enough with 11 but with 10 men it's an uphill task."
