Bolton boss Gary Megson has warned his players only keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen is assured of his place against Blackburn.

Megson is still fuming at the way the Trotters capitulated against Aston Villa last time out and he says that any of his outfield players could be left out of the side that face Blackburn on Sunday.

He told Bolton news: "The Villa defeat will rankle for a long time. Whatever team it turns out to be on Sunday... if Jussi is not playing, he is the only one who could say it is out of order.

"Everyone else who plays against Blackburn can consider themselves fortunate in my book.

"We've had to wait until Friday morning because a lot of the players haven't been here.

"I had my views at the time on why it was as poor as it was but that has to stay private.

"We didn't give ourselves a chance to succeed at Villa because of the way we went about it."
