Martin Petrov is an injury doubt for Bolton ahead of Ipswich's visit to the Reebok Stadium.

Petrov featured as a second-half substitute in Wanderers' 2-1 triumph over Blackburn but picked up a slight hamstring strain in the closing stages.

The former Manchester City winger may have struggled to break into the starting line-up in any case after Chris Eagles, Jacob Butterfield and Lee Chung-Yong all impressed in the attacking midfield roles at Ewood Park, with the latter netting the ultimately decisive second goal.

Kevin Davies opened the scoring after replacing David Ngog in attack - the ex-Liverpool youngster dropping to the bench despite netting a last-minute equaliser against Brighton last weekend.

Mark Davies is available once more having served a one-match ban for collecting five yellow cards but may struggle to dislodge Keith Andrews and Jay Spearing in central midfield.

Long-term knee injury victims Andy Lonergan, David Wheater, Stuart Holden and Josh Vela remain on the sidelines.
