Bristol City have signed Bolton midfielder Sean Davis on a one-month loan deal.

The former Fulham man has not featured for Bolton since August 2009 and has been restricted to only four appearances for the Trotters.

And now the 32-year-old former Fulham man has moved to Ashton Gate to try and help the Robins, currently in 20th, move up the Championship table.

Bristol City manager Derek McInnes told his club's website: "I'm delighted we've been able to bring in a player with the experience and quality that Sean possesses.

"Given the impact injuries have had on our midfield, it's ideal that we've got Sean on board for the next month.

"He hasn't played a lot of games recently, but has been fit for a while and desperate to play. His enthusiasm for this move is very welcoming."
