Bolton striker Ricardo Vaz Te has joined St Johnstone on loan in order to get some regular action under his belt.

The forgotten man of the Reebok Stadium is now back to full fitness and Trotters boss Owen Coyle has sent the Portuguese striker to his former club to get some games.

In other loan moves teenage centre-back Mark Connolly joined Hamilton on loan for the rest of the season while reserve team striker Tope Obadeyi joined League Two leaders Rochdale.

There had been talk that Danny Shittu could head to Rangers but a deal never materialised and he will stay at the Reebok for now.
