Trotters linked with £4m Israeli

Bolton are being linked with a £4million swoop for Israeli international striker Elyaniv Barda as they look to bolster their attack.

Wanderers boss Gary Megson has already drafted in Johan Elmander and Mustapha Riga this summer but he still wants more options in attack following the departure of El-Hadji Diouf.

Megson still has cash to spend and reports now claim he is weighing up a bid for Barda, who currently plays his football with Belgium outfit Racing Genk and bagged 16 goals in 32 appearances last season.

German outfit Borussia Dortmund are also said to be interested in the player, who impressed for Israel in the Euro 2008 qualifiers, but it seems as though Megson is the frontrunner to land the player.
