Bolton are reportedly set to launch a fresh bid to try and secure the signing of Swansea playmaker Ferrie Bodde.
Whites boss Gary Megson is a big fan of the 27-year-old Dutchman and has already seen an initial £2.5million offer snubbed by the South Wales outfit last week.
However, with Bodde seemingly determined to leave the Championship club for a crack at playing in the Premier League, it is being claimed the Whites might offer £3million plus add-ons in a new attempt to test the Swans' resolve.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins placed a £5million price tag on the head of Bodde, who upset the club by returning late for the start of pre-season training on Monday.
And following the player's talks with new boss Paulo Sousa on Wednesday, it is not clear if the pair settled their early differences or if they will now opt to offload him for less than their valuation.
