Bolton boss Gary Megson has added Derby's Miles Addison to his shopping list as he looks to bolster his midfield in January.
Megson is delighted with his current crop of players, who have moved on to 20 points for the season after picking up their fourth win in five games at Sunderland, but he wants more strength in depth.
The Trotters boss was ready to make a £2.5million bid for Swansea midfielder Ferrie Bodde but the Dutchman is out for the season with a knee injury and Megson will have to look elsewhere.
Derby's highly-rated 19-year-old is now said to be a target after Trotters scouts watched the player in action for the third time recently and a swoop could be on the cards.
Megson says he is ready to move for the best players from the Championship and below, with Bristol Rovers striker Rickie Lambert another name to be linked over the weekend.
