Bournemouth goalkeeper Shwan Jalal has joined Oxford on a one-month loan.
The 30-year-old is yet to feature in the Cherries first team squad this season, but played 90 minutes in the development squad's 5-0 defeat at Yeovil on Tuesday.
"I think Shwan has been frustrated by the lack of opportunities this season," manager Eddie Howe told the club's official website.
"Ryan Allsop has performed very well and been stable as our number one goalkeeper, so Shwan is looking to get some game time.
"Hopefully he will get that but if not, then he will definitely benefit from the experience at a good club."
Jalal will be available when Oxford face Cheltenham this weekend.
