Brentford have recalled midfielder Charlie Adams from his loan spell at Barnet.

The 19-year-old linked up with the Conference promotion chasers in early February on a deal for the rest of the season.

But Brentford have exercised their option to bring him back to west London after 28 days.

Bees youth boss Ose Aibangee told the club website: "This was Charlie's first loan move and it was an important time for him.

"He managed to secure a place in Barnet's first team, which was pleasing to see, and he did well.

"All the reports from Barnet and from those who watched him are that he did well."
