Brighton have signed Spanish striker Adrian Colunga from Getafe for an undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old watched the Seagulls' 2-1 win over Bolton before passing a medical on Saturday night and signing a two-year deal.

He will train with his new team-mates on Monday, and boss Sami Hyypia said: "Adrian is another very skilful, technical player, who is good on the ball, capable of scoring goals and will create chances for others.

"He has the experience of playing at the highest level in Spain, having worked his way up through the Spanish leagues, and he will add to our attacking options."

Colunga has played close to 150 La Liga games and has scored 56 career goals.
