Dunk back with Brighton

Last Updated: Mon, 28 Oct 2013 15:44

Brighton defender Lewis Dunk is unlikely to return to Bristol City following a month's loan spell.

The 21-year-old made three appearances for the Robins but sustained a knee injury in Saturday's 4-2 win at Carlisle and his four-week stay has ended earlier than planned.

He has now returned to the Amex Stadium to be assessed by the Seagulls' medical team but a Robins return appears unlikely.
