Gillett becomes a Robin

Last Updated: Thu, 31 Oct 2013 13:11

Nottingham Forest midfielder Simon Gillett has joined Bristol City on loan.

Gillett's move to the Sky Bet League One club sees him reunited with manager Sean O'Driscoll whom he played under at both the City Ground and at previous club Doncaster.

The 27-year-old has made just two appearances for Forest this season, both in the Capital One Cup.

Gillett, who will be playing in the third tier for the first time since 2009 when he was at Southampton, will remain with the Robins until January 28, 2014.
