Johnson focused on home win

Bristol CBristol City boss Gary Johnson says he is determined his side will record their first home win of the season against Doncaster.

Bristol have so far only managed two draws and a defeat at Ashton Gate but Johnson says his side are focused on getting back to winning ways against the newly promoted side.

"We've had some tough games (at home) so far. Derby and Birmingham have both come down from the Premier League, and QPR are one of the favourites for promotion," Johnson told Bristol City World.

"We haven't played badly so we're not down and out. We're a bit down because we were beaten on Tuesday, but that's good because it's the nature of our beast.

"Hopefully we'll learn from it and put all our aggression into this game against Doncaster to try and get that first home win."

Johnson could have Brazilian goalkeeper Adriano Basso available despite him limping off in midweek against Birmingham.
