Gary Johnson could be tempted to make changes to his Bristol City side for the trip to Middlesbrough after the 6-0 defeat to Cardiff.

The Robins boss was furious with his players after the crushing defeat to their Severnside derby rivals at Ashton Gate on Tuesday and wants an instant response at the Riverside as his side look to improve their recent run of just one win in their last six Championship matches.

Johnson could recall Lewin Nyatanga to the defence, while midfielders Evander Sno, Marvin Elliott and Ivan Sproule are all pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.

Patrick Agyemang and Jamal Campbell-Ryce endured nightmare debuts against the Bluebirds, but both players should keep their places in the side, as Johnson has no new injuries or suspensions to contend with.
