Gary Johnson says his side must develop a cutting edge if they are to make the Championship play-offs this season.

City scored their first goal in four matches in the 1-1 draw against Coventry on Saturday and manager Johnson was understandably frustrated after seeing his strikers squander a host of chances.

Johnson told the club website: "We did everything we could to get up to the penalty area but didn't make their goalkeeper work enough. That has become a bit of a trait of ours recently.

"We need to be scoring when we are on top and that is the only disappointment really. We did well to come from behind and should probably have gone on to win the game, but you have to put the ball in the back of the net when you get the chance."
