Bristol City are being tipped to seal a deal for Manchester United youngster Lee Martin, which could see Michael McIndoe move on.

The Robins are understood to be willing to make winger Martin their best paid player, but Gary Johnson does face competition for his signature from Championship rivals Ipswich.

It's believed City have agreed a £2million deal with the Premier League champions but will need to persuade Martin that Ashton Gate is his best destination.

If the former Plymouth and Rangers loanee does agree to join City, it could lead to McIndoe heading for the exit door with Sheffield United said to be lining up a £750,000 bid.
