Bristol Rovers will be without Oliver Norburn against Chesterfield after the midfielder saw red in the 3-2 defeat to Southend on Tuesday.

But Tom Eaves (knee) and Matthew Lund (Achilles) are expected to be passed fit despite both sitting out training on Thursday.

One player who was passed fit to be in the squad on Tuesday was Danny Woodards, on the bench for the first time since the former MK Dons man broke his leg on the final day of last season.

But that defeat to Southend at the Memorial means there is only one point separating his side from the bottom of the table, but McGhee is keen to make sure his side does not panic.

He told Rovers' official website: "You cannot get desperate, because if you get desperate you make bad decisions. We have to stay calm. We want to get wins and get up the league, we want to give the fans something to be positive about."
