VFB Stuttgart have admitted that they are keen to sign Polish starlet Arkadiusz Milik with talks ongoing about a January move.
The 18-year-old striker currently plies his trade for Gornik Zabrze in the Polish top-flight and has already won three full international caps.
He has been eyed by a few clubs since making the switch to Gornik in 2011 and it appears that the Bundesliga outfit are ready to take a chance on the talented but inexperienced hit-man.
Vedad Ibisevic and Cacau are currently the only recognised strikers in the squad and Stuttgart are clearly keen to do something about that, with sporting director Fredi Bobic confessing that the wheels have been put in motion to try to make the transfer happen.
"It is true, we have already progressed a great deal in the matter," he said. "But it is not easy to complete the transfer at the moment."
Borussia Dortmund, Schalke and Everton have also shown an interest, and so Die Roten are looking to move quickly to make sure they get their man.
