Sean Dyche is hoping to welcome back Martin Paterson, Chris McCann and top goalscorer Charlie Austin to face Millwall on Saturday.
Burnley have been hampered by injuries in the past few weeks, with several key players being ruled out, and Dyche is hoping that the returning players will be able to help the Clarets climb the table.
Strikers Paterson and Austin and midfielder McCann have had spells on the sidelines due to hamstring injuries, while defender Ben Mee has been out of action for over a month after picking up a knee injury in the derby against Blackburn.
McCann was unfortunate not to be back in action last Saturday in the 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace, but Dyche is more optimistic that he and Paterson will be ready for this week's clash at The Den.
Dyche said: "There are a few probables rather than possibles now.
"Pato has come through training for a couple of days so hopefully that will continue this week. Ben Mee is still on-going and Charlie is progressing naturally."
Despite the injuries, Burnley have picked up some valuable points recently, including a win on the road at Sheffield Wednesday, and Dyche isn't in a hurry to change his starting line-up.
He said: "They're certainly putting up a case for staying in the team and it's brilliant for me as a manager to have so many motivated people to want to play."
