Sean Dyche suffered his first defeat as Burnley boss after DJ Campbell's late goal secured a 2-1 win for Ipswich.

The former Blackpool striker grabbed the winner with just three minutes remaining to give Mick McCarthy his second win in three games since taking the manager's job at Portman Road.

Daryl Murphy gave the Tractor Boys the lead six minutes into the second half as he outjumped Lee Grant to head in his first goal at Portman Road this season.

Grant felt he had been impeded and made his feeling known but referee Mark Brown waved away the complaints from the visitors.

Sam Vokes was summoned from the bench for the Clarets and had an almost instantaneous impact as he levelled with 10 minutes to go.

But Campbell secured all three points for the home side as he slotted in Carlos Edwards' cross to lift Ipswich off the foot of the npower Championship table.
