Burnley's first away game of the new Championship season is a trip to Sheffield Wednesday on August 10.
The Clarets already knew their first match is at home to Bolton after the Football League announced six special league fixtures to be played on the opening weekend to mark its 125th anniversary.
The Sheffield Wednesday game is followed by a home clash with League One play-off winners Yeovil before successive away games against Brighton and Derby.
The local derbies against Lancashire rivals Blackburn take place on September 14 (home) and March 8 (away).
Burnley travel to Middlesbrough on Boxing Day and host Huddersfield on New Year's Day.
Ipswich are the final visitors of the season to Turf Moor on April 26 before the campaign ends the following weekend at relegated Reading.
