Burnley have handed former Blackburn youngster Micah Evans a one-year deal.

The 20-year-old midfielder joined the Clarets on trial in the summer and has impressed enough for the club's development side to earn a professional contract.

Evans did not make a first-team appearance for Blackburn but did enjoy loan spells at Accrington, Chesterfield and Macclesfield during his time at Ewood Park.
