Burnley boss Brian Laws will be hoping to have Stephen Jordan available for the clash with Fulham on Tuesday night.

The defender has been out of the side since picking up a hamstring strain and has not featured over the past two weeks but he is closing in on a return and will be given a late check prior to the match.

Meanwhile, Laws wants the Clarets to build on their victory over West Ham at the weekend and he told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Now we've got that result under our belt we can march on.

"We can start believing going to Fulham that we can get a result there.

"We said from the start that these five games were going to be the turning point of our season. Which direction are we going in?

"The important one is we've got that first win that we wanted, so onwards and upwards.

"We've got to keep believing that this is the start of our season."
