Lukas Jutkiewicz says he is ready for his Burnley bow as he gets set to make his debut in the club's first friendly in Austria.
The 25-year-old completed his move to Turf Moor this week from Middlesbrough for £1.5million and immediately jetted out to join up with his new team-mates at their pre-season training camp.
The former Coventry and Southampton man has been put through his paces since arriving and is now in line to feature in Saturday's friendly with FC Grossklein.
Jutkiewicz is eager to get as much game time under his belt as possible ahead of the new Premier League season and is happy to have been able to go to Austria.
"I'm looking forward to getting as much action as I possibly can," he told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"Its always good to get in as early into pre-season as possible and I was keen to get here for the training camp because it's a good way to integrate yourself with a new team.
"I will be working as hard as I can to get as fit and as sharp for the new season."
Fellow new signings Matthew Gilks, Matt Taylor, Steven Reid and Marvin Sordell are also set to get their first taste of action as Burnley players this weekend.
