Burnley will assess the fitness of defender Ben Mee before the trip to face npower Championship basement boys Ipswich.

Former Manchester City youngster Mee suffered a foot injury during Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Leeds at Turf Moor.

Joseph Mills is ready to deputise at left-back if Mee fails to recover in time as Sean Dyche chases his third consecutive win since taking over as Clarets boss last week.

Chris McCann completed 90 minutes in midfield on his return from a hamstring problem in midweek and is fit to start once more at Portman Road.

In-form striker Charlie Austin headed the late winner against Leeds, taking the former Swindon man's tally to 20 for the season and making him the top scorer in European football.
