Latvian striker Gatis Kalnins has failed to secure a contract with Burnley after not impressing boss Owen Coyle while on trial.
The international frontman joined up with the Clarets on their recent tour of Scotland and featured in games against Partick Thistle and St Johnstone.
However Coyle was not overly impressed with Kalnins and confirmed he will not be staying at Turf Moor.
Coyle said: "We thank Gatis for his time but we will not be pursuing this any further.
"We would like to wish him all the best."
