Star's international move

BurnleyBurnley have sent striker Besart Berisha out on loan to Norwegian club Rosenborg in order to improve his fitness.

The Albanian international is yet to play a competitive match for the Clarets having suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury, and will now head to Norway until January.

Berisha, who joined Burnley from Hamburg last summer in a £300,000 deal, will work on getting back to match fitness during his time with former Champions League qualifiers Rosenborg.

Speaking about the move for the 23-year-old, Owen Coyle told the club's website: "He has been out for a year and is not quite ready to start in our team just now.

"This'll enable him to get match games which are vital to his rehabilitation."

Coyle added: "If he goes there he will hopefully come back on the January 1 as a new player and ready to play a part for Burnley Football Club. He desperately needs games."
