Nathan Stanton will miss Burton's first game of 2013 against York through suspension.

Stanton was sent off during the 2-0 home win over promotion rivals Southend on Saturday after receiving two yellow cards.

Albion boss Gary Rowett will hope that Marcus Holness can recover from the groin injury that has ruled him out of the last two matches to replace Stanton in the centre of defence.

If Holness is not ready to return, a defensive reshuffle could see either Andrew Corbett or Aaron Webster recalled to the starting line up.

Club captain John McGrath, fellow midfielders Cleveland Taylor and Chris Palmer and striker Matt Paterson are also options for Rowett should he wish to make further changes.

Winger Jimmy Phillips is nearing the end of a five month lay-off with a broken metatarsal and may also be included in the squad that travels to north Yorkshire.
