Rotherham have signed Bury striker Shaun Harrad on a one-month emergency loan deal.

The 27-year-old, who scored a hat-trick against the Millers when playing for Burton last season, arrives at Don Valley to cover the absence of the injured Gareth Evans.

"I am really excited about the move," he said.

"It is a great opportunity to play some football and I am aiming to get some goals while I am here.

"I am impressed with what I have seen so far and am taking everything one day at a time but obviously I am really looking forward to playing."

Harrad joined the Shakers in August but has failed to score in any of his 18 appearances this season.
