Cambridge United News and Results

Known then as Abbey United, the U’s were founded in 1912 and have been based at the Abbey Stadium since 1932. United were elected to the Football League in 1970, with their highest league finish coming in 1981 when they finished 10th in the second tier. After 35 years in the league, Cambridge were relegated in 2005. The U’s have twice reached the quarter finals of the FA Cup and notable former players include Dion Dublin and Dave Kitson.
